Greetings,
We hope you are having a pleasant September so far. With Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan beginning this evening(at sundown), we'd like to wish our Jewish readers a sweet new year! We have been busy revamping the site and making our newest products for upcoming shows. We are also in the process of working on the wholesale aspect of the business so we are working on various press/sample kits to send out to retailers!
One of the newest products is our "The Caring Woman" card series which are being retailed to help raise money for various organizations related to women health issues. Our focus for the month of September is our purple cards as they relate to Leukemia. As many know Marisa is walking in the big marathon for Nike in October with the money she earns going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society! You can read more about the cards and Marisa's efforts on the site under the Celebrate Women Collection.
We are trying to offer more items for our mailing list members which includes discounts, special offers which will start this month. The first thing we want to remind you is that on your birthday we will send you a special gift so don't forget to update your mailing list contact information so we can put the gift in the mail!

At any moment you don't feel the newsletter is for you please unsubscribe via the provided links or contact us at info@zevcards.com.

**************************************************************** Featured Cards of the Month - Heritage and Culture
|
|
Our featured cards for September relate to various cultures and heritages. The reason we've selected these cards for our featured items based on our participation in WorldFest 2007 and various special culture holidays in September. Some of the holidays include Hispanic Heritage Month, Rosh Hashanah, Native American Day, and Ramadan.
Although there is a diverse group of cultures in our society nowdays, isn't it amazing that despite the culture a greeting card makes the same impact -- It shows someone that you care! ZeVin Creations believes that you can celebrate a culture with all types of cards in various ways. You can show your appreciation of a particular culture with a card by:
1. Sending that special someone you know a greeting themed around their culture. Let's say you know someone who is an Hispanic American, you can show them how much they mean to you by having a card representing the Hispanic American concepts and values as well written in their specific language.
2. Expanding someones horizon by sending a non-standard type of card that represents a particular culture. Maybe you know someone that wants to learn more about the African American heritage. Why not send them an inspirational card that is centered around an African Proverb or interesting fact.
3. Increasing cultural awareness and appreciation in the world. Everyone can aide in the end of hatred and racism even with a card. Sending a card that represents another culture or cultures will encourage Diversity and eventually make us all "World Citizens".
ZeVin Creations wants to encourage you to do something you might not have done before use a card to show your appreciation for a different culture! Take this month to send someone a greeting themed around their culture, use a card to increase cultural awareness and appreciation, and expand someone's horizon with a non-traditional style card. We hope the mentioned tips will aid in you "Making Gifts Within A Card" for your birthday greetings. With that in mind, just think of how one card can place a ripple in ending hatred and racism!
